An alternative pathway into Engineering and IT at UniSA

Solar CarThe ATN Test is a unique and innovative assessment test of a prospective student's aptitude and capability to undertake studies to become an engineer or an IT specialist.

Developed and conducted by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), the test is only offered by ATN Universities, UniSA being the only one in South Australia. Satisfactory completion of the ATN Test allows direct entry into the Associate Degree in Engineering or Information Technology.

This test allows an alternative pathway for school students and mature age students who may not have the traditional year 12 maths and science background or the Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) required for entry into a Bachelor of Engineering or Information Technology programs.

The ATN is held at both the City West and Whyalla campuses.
