Accelerated
program
UniSA now gives students the opportunity to accelerate the completion of their Bachelor of Engineering program to three years. The structure of the engineering programs has been altered to allow for three study periods per year instead of two.
On completion of the common first year, students demonstrating
satisfactory performance may be offered the option to
complete courses in holiday periods instead of taking a break, thus
completing the engineering bachelor degree in three years. The four
year option will remain available for students who wish, for academic or
personal reasons, to complete in the standard program duration.
UniSA is the only University in South Australia, and one of only a few
Universities nationally, to offer this option to domestic and international
students. The accelerated program option is subject to academic performance
in the first year and students interested in this option should obtain
further information from their program director.
