UniSA and Flinders collaborative engineering programs
A unique 2 + 2 year teaching approach
For students just out of school, geography can be an impediment to following a dream career. This exciting opportunity allows students to choose to study close to home for the first two years, gaining a solid foundation and familiarity with university life, before moving or travelling to access the discipline experts and facilities to finish their chosen degree at the partner institution.
The collaboration between UniSA and Flinders University is a way of better serving the needs of students in Northern and Southern Adelaide and addressing the skills shortage of engineers in relevant disciplines.
Engineering programs now at Flinders University
Under the new 2+2 year arrangement, the first two years of UniSA's Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) awards will be offered at Flinders University. Students will then complete the third and fourth years at UniSA's Mawson Lakes Campus. The award is conferred by the University of South Australia.

Such accreditation is provisional until the course produces its first graduates.
