WARS 2010 Conference
Workshop on Applications of Radio Science
An initiative of the National Committee for Radio Science
11-12 February 2010
This is the key biennial opportunity to join the Australian radio science community and participate in first-class radio science through:
- keynote presentations
- poster sessions
- formal and informal discussions.
WARS research papers are fully peer-reviewed and published in online conference proceedings after the event. They are presented and discussed at interactive poster sessions alongside additional non refereed WARS posters. Students are particularly encouraged to attend and a prize will be awarded for the best student poster.
The WARS Conference is designed to generate focussed discussions on emerging issues in radio science. Please attend to contribute and enjoy a stimulating workshop environment.
The 2010 conference will be held from 11-12 February 2010 at the Shine Dome, Canberra.

Thank you to our keynote speakers, Dr David Skellern, Dr Brian Boyle FAA, and Dr Jean-Michel Le Floch, and to all delegates to WARS 2010 for contributing to a successful workshop in Canberra last week. Despite some last minute changes and apologies, the majority of submitted posters were presented and were well received. A copy of the Program and Abstracts Booklet that was distributed at WARS2010 is available via the links below. Further information on specifications for the full papers for publication in the WARS2010 proceedings and for submission for review for the Radio Science journal will be provided shortly. In the meantime we draw your attention to the forthcoming International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications (ICEAA 2010) which was promoted at WARS 2010. All enquiries should be directed to Professor Paul Smith at Macquarie University. Note that abstracts for this conference are due at the end of February 2010. Andrew Parfitt Chair, National Committee for Radio Science |
