 Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS)

The Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS) provides valuable assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying at UniSA and is funded by the Dept of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.

The program offers students access to qualified tutors located in metropolitan and rural locations with skills and experience in a wide range of study areas. Tuition includes all areas of study such as program content, time management, academic writing skills, essay planning and referencing skills. Tutors are available to help with study and workload demands and to provide support and encouragement to assist with succeeding at University.

Eligibility

The Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS) is available only to undergraduate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in a degree program  only. An Affirmation of Aboriginality form must be completed and lodged along with an application for tutoring.
