Search for Software in the General Purpose Pools and Computer Barns
To search for a software item type the name (or part of the name) of the software that you are looking for in the software box below. Then select the campus and click on Search.
Search for Hardware in the General Purpose Pools and Computer Barns
To search for a hardware item select the description of the hardware that you are looking for from the list in the hardware box. Then select the campus and click on Search.
(All pools and computer barns have Intel-based Pentium 4 computers with at least 512 MB memory and only certain key hardware differences between pool are included in the search list. Audio sockets are provided are for use with headsets only - not speakers.)
Sound in Computing Pools and Computer Barns
Most Computing Pools and all Computer Barns have audio sockets on the front of the monitor shelf or in an audio front panel on each computer (in pools with both use the shelf-mounted sockets). The audio sockets are for use with headsets only - not speakers. In most cases they have both headphone and microphone sockets and can be used with headsets with built-in microphones. Check the hardware search facility for locations. Students need to provide their own headsets.
