Why has my Windows XP PPTP VPN connection to UniSA stopped working?

If your Windows XP connection to the wireless via PPTP has stopped working
there are several things that you can try to get it working again:
- Ensure that the security protocol MSCHAPv2 is not selected. To
check this setting right click your PPTP connection and select
properties. Click the Security Tab, ensure the advanced radio
button is selected and click the Settings button.
- Ensure that you are entering your username in the format smith001
rather than using smith001@unisa-pptp.
- Double check your PPTP configuration using the correct instructions
for your operating system from the
