Why do I get a blue screen when I try to use the wireless network?

This error affects the City West and City East Campus, caused by a major network upgrade across these sites. The affected network card is the the Intel Pro Wireless 2200BG, popular as a fitted or onboard solution by many laptop manufacturers.

This issue can be resolved by updating the driver for the wireless card and following the instructions listed below:
