To connect to the AARNet MCU, open your Video Conference software and type in either mcu.aarnet.edu.au or the IP address 202.158.196.20 and press the "Call" button on your video conferencing equipment.

You'll be presented with the MCU attendant screen. If your video conferencing software or equipment has far end camera controls you can use the "up" and "down" arrows to highlight the conference and then press the "right" arrow to enter the conference.
If you are connecting via ISDN you'll need to call (02) 62112699. You'll be greeted by the voice of the conferencing system:
Hello. Welcome to the Conferencing System. To join a conference you may use the far end camera controls on your remote. Please enter the conference code now.
There will be a numeric code for your conference. Such as 612621126xx# which you will need to dial, including the # key.
You'll then be added the conference.
If you need to connect to an MCU conference and only have access to a telephone then your conference code becomes your phone number as per the table below:

Once you have dialled the number, if the conference is already in session
you will be automatically connected. However, if you receive the
automated answering message, your conference has not yet started.
Once you are connected your presence in the video conference will be indicated by a telephone symbol in the upper left corner of the screen.
MCU Video Conferences can be access controlled through the use of a PIN.

You will then hear one of the following:
Sorry I did not recognise that security pin. Please try again, OR
I'll connect you to your conference now.
