To provide more security for your internet and print quotas and prevent others using your computer while you are away for short periods of time you can lock the session by pressing the Ctrl and Space keys together. Your session will be secured for up to 20 minutes and you will be required to enter your password to unlock the computer.
If you forget to set the security screen saver and move away from the computer the screen saver will launch automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity. If you have not logged back onto the computer within 20 minutes the screen saver will log you off and reboot the computer.
It is in your interest to use the security screen saver every time you move away from the computer. Do not let others have access to your session, use your quota's, or view your work.
HINT! Remember to
save your work every 5 minutes to My Documents and then save it to a removable-media.
