WSUS Client Setup Guide
The setup guide shows how to configure a workstation or server to connect to the UniSA WSUS server using the Local Group Policy Editor.
New desktop and notebook systems purchased from a UniSA designated PC supplier where the UniSA Standard Operating Environment (SOE) has been loaded will be configured as per this document.
While this document shows how to configure a WSUS client using the Local Group Policy Editor, it is recommended that IT support staff who administer an OU in Active Directory configure their client WSUS settings using a Group Policy Object linked to the OU they administer where the computer accounts reside.
