UniSA Wireless setup support
for Students
Introduction
UniSA Students are able to connect their privately owned wireless devices to the UniSA wireless network and are encouraged to do so. Detailed instructions on how to connect to the UniSA wireless network are available on the Getting Connected web page. ISTS are able to offer students further assistance should they have trouble connecting.
How to get help
Students should first attempt to configure their wireless device themselves before requesting further assistance. To get started you should take a look at the following online resources:

Attend a wireless Install-Fest (first week of March)

Make an Appointment
Early in study period 2 each year we hold a free wireless "Install-Fest"
on each of the metropolitan campuses. Bring your laptop or other
wireless device with you. For more information go to
Wireless Install-Fests.
If you have read and attempted to follow the instructions available on
the above web pages and are still having problems connecting
your wireless device to the UniSA Wireless network then
you can contact the
IT Help Desk for further assistance. The
IT Help Desk can make an
appointment for you to meet with an ISTS staff member to assist you with
your setup on campus.
Appointment Times
The following table lists the possible appointment times and
where you should meet with us. Appointments are normally
limited to half an hour.
If you do make an appointment and find later that you are unable to attend please let us know by contacting the IT Help Desk.

What we can't do
- We cannot assist with the applications you use. (eg OMA, Skype, MSN, Yahoo Chat, etc.)
- We cannot assist with the configuration of your device if it is not
related to connecting to the UniSA wireless network.
Remember to bring:
- your mobile device (e.g. notebook, PDA, etc)
- the wireless network card (if not built in to the computer)
- the Power adapter for your mobile device
