From 2011 you will receive a base Printing Allowance of $12 plus $11 for each 4.5 unit UniSA course you are enrolled in.
Examples
A full time student enrolled in study period 2 and study period 5 would receive a quota of $100 for the year ($12 + $44 for study period 2 courses + $44 for study period 5 courses).
A part time student could be enrolled in four 4.5 unit courses for the year (two in study period 2, one in study period 5 and one in study period 7). This student would receive $56 for the year ($12 + $22 for SP2 + $11 for SP5 + $11 for SP7).
The $12 base quota is allocated after you enrol or when you first print (whichever is earlier). However some of your course-related quota may not appear until later in the year. If you enrol early for some of your courses (e.g. enrol in February for SP5 courses which start in July) the quota amounts for these courses are not allocated until approximately 3 months before the start of the relevant study period. This means that study period 5 amounts will not appear in your Printing Allowance until mid-April even if you enrol in these courses early in the year.
