What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

Students can set up the password reset facility through the student portal.

Alternatively please visit the ChangePassword site and select 'Click here to setup your self service password reset account.'

Once set up students can select the links on the portal log-in page, visit the ResetPassword site, or use the pre-login ChangePassword facility in the student pools and barns to reset a forgotten password.

Failure to answer your predefined question correctly 3 times in a row results in the account being locked out.  If this occurs please contact the IT Help Desk.

Staff who require a password reset, students whose account has been locked out, or students who have not yet set up the password reset facility or have opted out, should contact the IT Help Desk on +61 8 8302 5000 between 8.30am to 9.00pm Monday to Friday.

You will be asked personal information  to verify your identity therefore email  requests for password changes can not be processed by the Help Desk staff.  If the Help Desk staff are not confident about your identity you may be asked to attend a Campus Central office with appropriate identification.
