The Edit button is still available in Internet Explorer 7 but it is hidden by default. To add this icon to your toolbar:
Right Click on the background of any Toolbar, select Customize Command Bar and then Add or Remove Commands

Select Edit from the Left hand side menu and click Add. Once Edit appears on the right hand side menu click close.

The Edit icon will then appear in the Command Bar Toolbar.

The arrow to the right of the Edit icon will allow you to select Edit in Microsoft Office FrontPage.
