What is EmpowerHR?
EmpowerHR (formally RemusPower) is the University's main human resource
information system. EmpowerHR is used by human resource professionals across
the University to maintain employment related data and to produce the
University's fortnightly payroll.
The main functions of the system are:
- Maintaining employees' current employment records (including
superannuation, allowances and position details);
- Storing employees' historical data (including position history, leave
history and employee payment details);
- Storing employees' qualification details and equity and diversity
details;
- Providing human resource information to UniSAinfo;
- Providing human resource information for reporting to Management,
Planning Unit, Australian Bureau of Statistics and DETYA; and
- Produces the fortnightly payment of salaries for all University staff.
