James WarnerJames Warner UniSA Student

James Warner from Kent in England is in no hurry to finish his UniSA studies - he plans to undertake a degree in Psychology here when he completes his current program in Communication and Media Management.

"I think the reason I am enjoying my study so much at UniSA is due to the members of staff and the teaching facilities. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and are willing to give up their time to answer any questions or problems which you have. A lot of Universities, especially those in the UK, don’t have the time to speak to students individually."

"I have only been studying at UniSA for one semester but have already made a number of friends and gained good results through hard work, but also from the enjoyable atmosphere and dedicated staff."

UniSA’s library and student support facilities have also helped James get the most out of his studies. "I have used Campus Central on a number of occasions. If you are stuck and need instant advice, Campus Central is the place to go!"

"The library facilities are first class and library staff are attentive to students' needs. The library provides computers for assisting students' access to web information, such as journals and articles, as well as having a large range of books for each subject. There are quiet spots for those who require it, and areas for general research."

"Learning and Teaching Unit are also an important aspect of UniSA. They provide a helpful service in providing students with information to do mainly with study, study problems or difficulties." Learning and Teaching Unit provides a range of services for international students from pre departure information to orientation, counselling, and study workshops.

James is studying at the University's Magill campus located just seven kilometres from the city centre. "Beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings makes it perfect for studying." With a newly refurbished library, modern computer pools and a popular coffee bar the Magill campus is an attractive study location.

James gained entry to UniSA through SAIBT, a pathway institute where he studied a Diploma program which granted him entry into second year at UniSA. "It was an easy transition and the staff at UniSA are extremely helpful and supportive."
