English language requirements
The minimum English language entry requirements for international
students who speak English as a foreign language are as follows:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Overall 6.0 obtained within the last two years or corresponding results from an equivalent test. Please see the English Language Test Comparison Table for further information.
Please note that all award programs have specific subscore requirements and many have a higher overall IELTS (Academic) requirement. Please refer to Programs at UniSA for further information on IELTS requirements.
Applicants from countries where English is an official language or who have had recent work experience in an English setting may meet our minimum program entry requirements in a number of alternative ways.
More information is available for applicants who do not meet UniSA's English language entry requirements and need to improve their English or who wish to gain entry into a UniSA degree through a Pathway program delivered by a partner institution in Adelaide, South Australia.
