Bachelor of Interior Architecture
Using “light” to design an installation or sculpture for an interior
or exterior space, your design for this project is to communicate a
story (a fictional narrative or a childhood memory/place), or make a
statement about yourself (what you believe in and stand for – whether
poetic, personal, political, environment, etc.)
Careful consideration should be made about your choice and exploration
of a specific material, (it’s surface texture, tactility, colour,
associative value, etc). The material may be the light source itself.
In addition to your standard kit-bag of pencils, pens, paper, sketchbooks, etc. for communication and presenting your ideas, you are asked to consider the design brief and bring along a sample of the material/s that you wish to play with and explore.
