Psychology

Study Psychology and set yourself up for a dynamic career in diverse fields such as clinical psychology, organisational psychology, research, family and youth
support, or consumer research. UniSA has the only Psychology degree in South Australia with a sub-major in Counselling and Interpersonal Skills. UniSA offers two undergraduate programs: Bachelor of Psychological Science (three years) and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) (four years). Double degrees with Law and Human Services are also available.

Social Work and Human Services

Social Work and Human Services is a great career choice for those with a passion for social justice. Find career opportunities in the fields of aged care, mental health, child and youth welfare, community development, and work with families and Indigenous communities. The field is growing rapidly and our graduates move quickly into leadership roles and play a major part in improving the quality of life for many in our community. UniSA also offers credit for relevant TAFE courses.

International Studies and Languages

To be prepared for cultural, political, social or humanitarian roles, in Australia and abroad, study a degree in International Studies or Languages. Develop your ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, create solutions and negotiate confidently within and across languages and cultures. Take part in the Hawke Ambassador Program which allows students to work as volunteers in international non-governmental organisations.

Architecture, Interior Architecture, Industrial Design

Design is a fundamental part of our visual landscape. Everything from large-scale urban environments to tools for microsurgery and computer keyboards are created to a particular design format. Studying Architecture, Interior Architecture or Industrial Design at UniSA will allow you to explore contemporary cultural theory and design education, museum and exhibition design, furniture design, urban design and more. In all areas of study, theory and practice are integrated through the art and craft of construction.

Visual Art

Studio-based study in a specialised area of your choice, such as photography, glass, painting, jewellery, drawing, ceramics and new media to name a few. A degree in visual arts can lead to work as a professional artist, art teacher, administrator or curator.

Student GradShows: Art, Architecture and Design

The inaugural 2009 UniSA Art Architecture + Design Graduate Exhibitions showcase the work of over 300 graduates from all of the programs in UniSA's new Art Architecture + Design School.

The shows exhibit the broadest range of creative disciplines offered by one school in Australia featuring visual arts, architecture, industrial design, interior architecture, visual communication design and illustration.
