JournalsWelcome to the Research pages of the International Graduate School of Business.

Our research mission is to advance, disseminate and preserve knowledge through the provision of a research environment that fosters excellence in scholarship, innovation and social responsibility. We value research very highly and offer a vibrant, exciting and dynamic research culture that continually extends the boundaries of knowledge and its applications.

Our academic staff have a variety of research interests covering a range of topics. Key research areas include sustainability, corporate social responsibility, performance measurement, cross-cultural management, adoption and diffusion of new technology, and entrepreneurship.

Our staff publish in prestigious international scholarly journals like Journal of Marketing, Organization Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Human Relations, Organization, International Journal of Organizational Analysis, European Journal of Marketing, Management Learning, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice. See Publications and Research Grants. A few of our researchers are also affiliated with the Hawke Research Institute which undertakes research on social, cultural and economic aspects of globalization and social sustainability and fosters debate on democratic participation in political, economic, social and cultural life.

Our research is multidisciplinary and international in its scope. IGSB is committed to being an internationally recognized centre of excellence for research education specializing in the integration of Eastern and Western management styles across the Asia-Pacific region. This is reflected by the strength of our two doctoral programs, the DBA and the PhD. With nearly 500 DBA students and 150 PhD students IGSB has one of the largest doctoral programs in the world. Our full time academic staff along with our adjunct staff supervise doctoral candidates in Adelaide, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. The research conducted by our doctoral students makes a significant contribution to our research mission.
