Our teaching
The MIB teaching philosophy is application focused. Recognising the majority of MIB students have limited or no prior work experience, a case based approach to learning is extensively used in many of the MIB courses. This allows students to identify and analyse real world problems, critically evaluate alternative solutions and provide relevant recommendations.
High profile industry practitioners are also invited to present and discuss topics and expose students to current industry practices and business issues in the international arena. The knowledge gained through the interaction with practitioners is extremely valuable in allowing students to apply the theoretical practices and concepts being taught. Equally importantly, MIB students will have opportunities to attend career management workshops, receive personalised career guidance, counselling and assistance at all stages of the program.
