The MIB approach
The MIB program has been designed to build both the practical and conceptual knowledge and skills of recently graduated business students to enable them to compete in a global market.
Throughout the program extensive use is made of contemporary case studies to bring frameworks and theories to life. Students will be required to apply what they have learnt to current global issues in classroom discussions.
Dynamic Learning Environment
Throughout the program students will be exposed to the latest models and practices in international business and their application to today's global challenges. Students will be encouraged to develop their analytical abilities and strategic thinking skills through classroom discussions, written reports and group projects.
Staff
Led by Associate Professor You-il Lee the academic staff teaching in the MIB program have extensive international business and academic experience. This expertise combined with IGSB's focus on quality teaching ensures students have a relevant, exciting rewarding learning experience.
Support
The IGSB sees learning as more than activities in the classroom. That is why we provide our students with opportunities to attend career management workshops designed especially for the IGSB. MIB students a can also participate in the Management Skills Development Workshops run regularly in the School. Personalised, individual career guidance and counselling is also available. The MIB program offers personalised attention and assistance at all stages of the program.
Teaching
The MIB global focus doesn't just exist in the content of the program. With candidates coming from across the globe, MIB students experience constant interaction and exposure to different cultures. The IGSB has a range of opportunities for students to study abroad to further develop their global understanding. On campus class room sessions include stimulating presentations by international experts from industry.
