Industry placements
International
students enrolled in the MBA Program have the opportunity to undertake
an Industry Placement as part of their MBA. The internship program takes place over
three months.
Industry placements are arranged by the IGSB.
Industry placements may not be limited to Adelaide; and in certain circumstances international students may be offered the chance to work for 10-12 weeks with companies in the eastern states of Australia. The conditions of work placement are negotiated individually with each employer, and there is no guarantee that students will be paid during their industry placement.
Placements are always done in close cooperation with each student, and any special needs and circumstances are considered very carefully in designing the industry placement experience, including the length, scope and outcomes to be achieved.
