Industry partnerships
The IGSB delivers its
programs into a wide range of South Australian industries. The programs range from the Graduate Certificate in Business
Administration through to the prestigious MBA, and in some cases, the content has a particular focus to suit the needs of the client.
One such example is the SA Police, where some of the Graduate Certificate courses have been slightly adapted to suit the operating conditions in the policing domain.
Whenever IGSB courses are offered in partnership with industry, the process is managed by the University's Strategic Partnerships team.
When programs are offered this way, lecturers from the IGSB deliver the courses, usually at the company's premises to minimise away from work time for students and to maximise the industry focus of the course delivery. The same high quality standards of content, assessment and review take place for programs offered in this way to corporate clients as those maintained for our public programs offered around the world.
The SA Credit Unions are also offering our Graduate Certificate Program, and based on the success of the first intake, the Credit Union program is now being offered nationally.
Other major corporate clients include Bridgestone Tyres, Schefenacker Vision Systems, Sola Optical, Mitsubishi, Boart Longyear, Child & Youth Health Department, WorkSkill and the Adelaide Mission.
