Business relationships
The quality of our teaching, our research, and the learning outcomes achieved by our students, are all enhanced by an active interaction with the business community in South Australia. As a
business school we have a special responsibility to build relationships.
Our key academic staff serve on advisory boards with industry leaders and are focused on industry developments. We develop case studies for use in our management courses as a result of our students' interaction with Australian companies. We use industry practitioners to supplement and provide a business perspective in our teaching sessions.
In 2004 we were the sole sponsor of the Seminar Series of Prominent Australian Business Leaders, hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
We provide our courses as executive programs within many of South Australia's most prominent companies. Our staff act as consultants for individual businesses and industry associations ranging across local government, tourism, wine, the arts and entertainment.
The South Australian business community supports young executives into our management programs, and supports our international students during their studies by organising periodic industry placements.
We value our relationships with business in South Australia.
