The David Unaipon College of Indigenous Education & Research

The David Unaipon College of Indigenous Education and Research is a vibrant, modern, scholarly organisation within the Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences. The College is not only home to The Unaipon School which offers an exciting range of undergraduate & postgraduate programs in Aboriginal Studies and Australian Studies, it is also host to a growing and important Indigenous Research hub of Indigenous academics with a proven track record in undertaking local and national Indigenous research projects in areas including health & wellbeing, education, employment & training, language and resource development.

Based in the cultural heart of the City's west end, the College also provides Student Services to the University's Indigenous students at each metropolitan campus and regional centre.

The Office of the Dean provides business, strategic, research and scholarly leadership to the portfolio areas and the wider University. By engaging in powerful community engagement activities with links to Aboriginal communities and through representation of Indigenous issues at the national and international level, the Office of the Dean leads the development of Indigenous knowledges, scholarship and thought.
