Last year in the same awards he won Best TV Current Affairs Report. He is
married with two young daughters, the latest born in September 2005.
He lives in the Adelaide Hills on 50 acres of bush with a very small
vineyard. His grows an acre of mixed red wine grapes as hobby and the first
vintage predominantly pinot was bottled last year.
It was named Eliska to honour the birth of his daughter. The 200 litre crush
was generously made into wine as a christening present by his 4th cousin
Stephen Henschke. This year it will be predominantly shiraz and named
Claudia in honour of daughter number two and once again Stephen Henschke has
done the winemaking just to ensure there will be no sibling rivalry when
they drink it on their 18th Birthdays!
