| Program
Structure
The masters program requires the completion of
either:
A two-thirds coursework
of six core and two elective subjects, and one third research project
course
or
A five-sixths coursework of six core and four elective subjects, and
one sixth research project course
The program is designed to be completed within
one calendar year (February to February). The first two semesters
are taken up primarily with formal coursework. The research project
may commence at the start of semester 2 (July) and is finalised during
the summer semester (November to February).

The Research Project
Students will undertake a research project that
is the equivalent of either two or four electives.
Projects may be instigated in the students
home country or provided in Australia. Students are expected to attend
seminars and may be called upon to present a seminar on their research
project. The project may be undertaken at any of the three participating
universities or two centres, provided that an appropriate supervisor
is available.

I
found the syllabus of the program especially useful. Thanks to
the excellent teaching staff, my knowledge of this field has been
considerably enhanced. My computer skills have also improved.
It was fun attending the three universities and I found the pooling
of resources from the three universities and two centres to be
most beneficial for students. |
