Information for staff and managers

The University has both a legal and moral obligation to ensure that staff are not unlawfully discriminated against because of their age. UniSA recognises that some staff within age-ranges may require access to different information and/or resources to enable them to achieve an effective work/life balance and to be fully informed about their rights and responsibilities.

Younger or older staff may require specific and tailored advice and access to information that allows them to make informed decisions about career and life options such as what type and amount of superannuation to take out and/or how to plan for retirement.

Managers may require advice and/or assistance to ensure that an effective age profile is supported, developed and maintained.
