Car parking fees

Employees appointed on a continuing or fixed term contract are eligible to salary sacrifice their car parking fees at a UniSA campus or commercial car park. Casual employees are ineligible for the salary sacrificing of car parking fees.

Car parking fees incurred at a UniSA campus and EZIPARK car park

Application to salary sacrifice car parking fees at UniSA campus car parks will only be accepted at the beginning of each calendar year, at the beginning of employment with UniSA or on transferring employment between campuses.

Car parking fees for employees at Magill, Underdale, Mawson Lakes and Whyalla will be deducted in a single payment from the employee’s salary.

Employees at City East and City West can choose to pay for their car parking fees as a single payment or as a fortnightly salary sacrifice deduction.

A notice period of one month is required by EZIPARK before terminating a car parking arrangement. This is the employee’s responsibility; please contact Campus Services for further information.

The University and EZIPARK reserve the right to accept or decline any salary sacrifice application.

Employees will be notified of any car park increases that may occur prior to the increase taking affect.

Car parking fees incurred at all other Commercial car parks

Permanent and casual car parking fees are able to be salary sacrificed on a monthly basis through the salary sacrifice reimbursement process. Please refer to the work-related items: http://www.unisa.edu.au/hrm/employment/remuneration/sacrifice/sacrifice.asp.

The University reserves the right to accept or decline any salary sacrifice application.

What do I do next?

 

Car parking fees incurred at a UniSA campus

  1. To apply for a Staff Reserved, Staff Unreserved or Motorcycle permit please use the online link to Tenix Solutions who will then issue these permits as soon as possible.
  2. Print the HRIS040 Application to Salary Sacrifice Car Parking Fees, complete sections 1 & 2 of the form and return to Tenix Solutions, PO Box 10096, Adelaide SA 5000, Email: tenix_parking@tenixsolutions.com

Car parking fees incurred at EZIPARK

  1. The initial payment will comprise of one fortnightly deduction, arrears to the start of the car park arrangement if applicable and two fortnightly deductions to ensure payments remain in advance.
  2. A full and comprehensive reconciliation will be undertaken at the end of each calendar year or on termination of car parking arrangement with any shortfall recovered through salary sacrifice.
  3. To apply for an EZIPARK (City East) car park for the first time please obtain a Commercial Car Parking agreement from Campus Operations located in Campus Central on level 3, Playford Building, City East.
  4. The Commercial Car Parking agreement form plus the Application to Salary Sacrifice Car Parking Fees HRIS040 must be completed and returned to Campus Operations for processing.
