Performance-based Remuneration

Performance-based remuneration provides managers with the flexibility to attract and retain key staff. Performance payments are “one-off” payments made to staff in accordance with a documented performance-based remuneration arrangement, based on agreed performance targets. Payments are non-recurrent and based on achievements within specific timeframes. The outcomes and measures must be established and agreed prior to commencement and reviewed regularly. All applications for performance pay must be approved by the Director: Human Resources through submission of a business case.

For further advice on performance pay please contact the Remuneration Team in the HR Unit or for further information please click on the following link  Performance Based Remuneration Guidelines (pdf 45kb download Adobe Acrobat).
