IMPX clinical placement requirements

Professional registration

In order to participate in the clinical components of this program students are required to obtain a “Limited Registration” to practice physiotherapy in South Australia for the duration of their studies. This limited registration is only applicable for the duration of the Masters program and can be organised once the Masters program has commenced. Please note that there is an application fee charged by the Physiotherapy Board of South Australia which must be paid by the student. (Approximately $295) This fee is not included in the tuition fee paid to the University. As part of this application students who are registered or licensed to practice physiotherapy in another state or country must obtain a “Letter of Good Standing” from the organization who issues your registration/license. While the processes of professional registration/licensure vary from country to country, please note that in some countries obtaining a Letter of Good Standing may require membership of your home country’s physiotherapy association.
