Podiatry Clinic

The UniSA Podiatry Clinic is an undergraduate teaching clinic open to members of the public. Registered practicing podiatrists supervise undergraduate Podiatry students who carry out podiatric assessment and treatment.

Please note information about a project between podiatry and occupational therapy students at the School of Health Sciences is also available.

The University Podiatry Clinic provides a comprehensive range of podiatry services including:

 

Clinics

The following clinics are run each week during semester time (March to November):

We also provide a clinical service in December and July for our regular clients.

 

Clinic hours

Monday 10am – 2pm (general clinic)
Tuesday 9 am – 5 pm (general clinic)
Wednesday 9 am – noon (biomechanics clinic); 2 pm – 5 pm (orthotics clinic)
Thursday 9 am – noon (general clinic)
Friday 9 am – noon (paediatrics clinic); 2 pm – 5 pm (orthotics clinic)   

 

Fees

The administration charge is levied to cover the costs of materials and to help upgrade clinic equipment.

Standard consultation $10
Biomechanical examination $10
Paediatric examination $10
Nail surgery $40
Soft insoles (pair) $20
Casting $10

 

Rigid orthoses (price includes the cost of one pair of rigid orthoses, covers, dispensing and follow-up appointments):

Adults $100
Children $90
Trilaminates $20 in addition
