Mammography Clinic
This innovative clinic enables diagnostic radiographers to undertake postgraduate studies in theoretical and practical aspects of mammography. Training courses are offered on campus as a joint venture between the University of South Australia and BreastScreen SA.
Successful completion of the academic and clinical modules provides eligibility for the award of the Australian Institute of Radiography Certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography.
Each module is offered as a week-long intensive course to cater for interstate and overseas students, and if desired, may be claimed as credit points towards a postgraduate qualification in Medical Radiation (Graduate Certificate in Medical Radiation (Breast Imaging)) or Graduate Diploma in Medical Radiation.
