Create a Turnitin user profile
You must create a user profile before you can submit assignments to Turnitin for the first time.
- Go to the Turnitin Web site.
- Click New Users:
The Create a user profile screen will open.
- Select student.
- Click next.
- Enter the Turnitin class ID provided by your lecturer.
- Enter the enrollment password also provided by your lecturer.
- Click next.
- Enter your UniSA student email address.
- Click next.
- Enter a password of your choice.
- Confirm the password.
- Click next.
- Select a secret question.
- Enter your answer to the secret question.
- Click next:
Note: the secret question will be used to identify you if you forget your password.
- Enter your first name.
- Enter your last name.
- Click next.
- Read the user agreement and click I agree -- create profile to complete your user profile.
- Click end wizard and log in.
You will see the class you have just enrolled in on the next screen, as shown below. This is your Turnitin home page. All the classes you enrol in will be displayed here.
