Check for updated versions of Web pages
Set Internet Explorer to check for new versions of stored pages so that you can see the most recent content available.
- Open Internet Explorer 7.
- Select Tools on the menu bar at the top of the window.
- Select Internet Options.
The Internet Options window will open.
- Click Settings as indicated by the arrow in the image above.
The Temporary Internet Files and History Settings window will open.
- Check the Every time I visit the webpage radio button.
- Click OK.
The Internet Options window will refresh.
- Click OK as indicated by the arrow in the above image.
Create Favourites
Web sites you visit regularly can be added to your list of Favorites. Selecting a Favorite will give you rapid access to the Web site without typing in the Web address.
- Open Internet Explorer 7.
- Click Favourites on the toolbar at the top of the window.
- Select Add to Favourites, as indicated by the arrow in the image above.
The Add a Favorite window will open.
- Enter a name for your Favorite (something that is meaningful to you).
- Select a folder from the drop down list to save your favourite into.
OR
Click New Folder to make a new folder to contain the Favorite. - Click Add.
