Submit assignment
Before you can submit an assignment you need to:
Once you have selected the assignment the Submit assignment window will open.

- Review the Submission instructions to ensure your assignment meets the
required file size and file type.
Note: If your file does not meet the required file size or file type you will not be able to submit your assignment. A warning message will display. See File requirements for more information. - Only use alpha numeric characters for assignment file names.
- If required, ensure your assignment file contains an assignment cover sheet.
- Review Submission status.
Note: The name of previously submitted files will display. Uploading a new version will replace the previous one. Your marker can only download your most recent submission. - Click the check box to indicate that you agree with the Plagiarism
statement.
Note: Agreeing to the Plagiarism statement is mandatory, and this check box must be ticked before you can submit your assignment.
Once you have clicked the check box the Submit assignment window will refresh and display the Browse button.
Note: Use only alpha
numeric characters for assignment file names or the submission may not be
successful. For example, Chinese characters should not be used.
Also see instructions on how to replace
existing assignment you submitted earlier with a newer version.

- Click Browse as indicated by the arrow in the image above.
The Choose file dialog box will open.

- Navigate to and select the file you want to submit.
- Click Open.
The Submit assignment window will refresh and display the file path.

- Click Submit as indicated by the arrow in the image above.

A progress bar will indicate the upload status of the file.
Note for Mac users: Word files created on a Mac are often missing the ".doc" extension that is required for them to be accepted by AssignIT and viewed on a PC. After browsing for your file, check that it has the ".doc" extension, as indicated by the asterisk the image above. If it doesn't; you can type the ".doc" extension after the file name before clicking the submit button.

A submission confirmation window will open, as shown above, if you have successfully submitted your assignment.
A short time later you will also receive an email advising that your assignment has been submitted successfully. Example of email below.
