Course Summary

Once you select a specific course offering the Course Summary window will open to display the current use of AssignIT for that course offering,

If you access AssignIT before the Course Coordinator has configured AssignIT the Course Summary window will be empty, as shown below:

However once AssignIT has been set up by the Course Coordinator the assessment items will be displayed on this page

Course summary table overview

The Course Summary window displays:

  1. Assessment item title
  2. A green tick for Yes, or a red cross for No for whether the assessment item has been scheduled.
  3. A green tick for Yes, or a red cross for No for whether the assessment item is to be graded.
  4. A green tick for Yes, or a red cross for No for whether the students should submit this assignment via AssignIT.
  5. A green tick for Yes, or a red cross for No for whether the students can see this assignment in AssignIT and MyUniSA (the student portal).
  6. The percentage of marked assessment items that have been returned to the students via AssignIT.
  7. The Total mark for the assessment item
  8. Weighting of the assessment item
  9. Quick links to the AssignIT Schedule, Edit, Collect, Return and Report functions for the assessment item. Each of these functions is also available from the left hand navigation of the AssignIT site.

Some of the information on the screen comes from the choices made by the Course Coordinator who set up AssignIT (eg. assessment item titles, scheduling etc), while other information is dynamically generated through your use of AssignIT (eg. whether all the assignments have been returned, the total mark etc).
