Test submission

You can test that the assignment submission process is working correctly from a student's perspective with Test submission. This allows you to replicate the process your students will undertake. This will not affect any of the schedule parameters.

Before you can can test submission, you need to:

The Test submission window will refresh and display a replica of the student view.

  1. Students can review the Submission instructions (including the "Instructions to students" field) to ensure their assignment meets the required file size and file type.
    Note: Students cannot submit a file if it is not the required file type or larger than the maximum file size.
  2. The cover sheet alert reminds students that they must include a cover sheet. A link to Learning Connection is included if they need to download a cover sheet.
  3. The submission status will advise if files have already been submitted.
  4. Students must read the plagiarism statement and agree to it by ticking the check box.
    Note: Students won't be able to submit an assignment unless they tick the box.

Once the check box is ticked, the Submit assignment window will refresh; giving students the ability to submit assignment files.

The Choose file dialog box will open.

  1. Navigate to, and click the required assignment file.
  2. Click Open.

The Submit assignment window will refresh and display the file path.

A submission confirmation window will open if you have successfully submitted the assignment.
