Provide staff access

Staff associated with a course in Medici will have automatic access to assessment items in AssignIT.

Note: Important access information

Marker
access is given by following the instructions below.

Course Coordinator
access is automatic if you are listed in Medici as a primary or secondary course coordinator.

Acting Course Coordinators
are given access by adding their name to Medici as a secondary instructor. Please forward this request to your School Executive Officer (SEO) or program support staff. AssignIT will update overnight once the information is entered into Medici.
 

Before you can can provide staff marker access, you need to:

Once you have selected a course the AssignIT Course Summary window will open.

Course Summary window

The Provide staff access window will open and display staff associated with the course in Medici.

Add new staff

To add additional staff:

  1. Enter the name of the staff member.
    Note: You can search by first name, family name or both. Providing the full name will refine the search result.
  2. Click Search.

The Provide staff access window will refresh and display the search result.

Select staff name

The window will refresh and display classes associated with the course.

Select classes

To provide a staff member with access to specific classes to collect assessment items:

  1. Select one or multiple study modes.
     Note: The window will refresh and display classes in the selected modes.
  2. Tick All classes to select all classes in the list.
     OR
  3. Click individual classes.
  4. Click Save.

The Confirm update window will open.
