Replace or remove a returned file
To replace or remove a returned file you need to:

- Select the student whose returned file you wish to replace or
remove, as indicated by the arrow in the image above.
The Return assessment items window will refresh.

- Insert the mark achieved.
Note: AssignIT will convert the overall
mark to a grade.
- Insert a summary comment explaining what changes have been made
and why the student is receiving another email from AssignIT.
- Select the existing file name to download the existing
file (optional).
Then select either:
Remove existing file
To remove an existing file:

- Tick the tick to remove the existing file only check box.
- Click Submit, as indicated by the arrow in the image
above.
The Return assessment items confirmation window will open.

- Click Select next student as indicated by the arrow in
the image above to refresh the window and
return the next student's assignment.
If you have finished returning assignments you can close AssignIT.
Replace existing file.
To replace an existing file:

- Click Browse, as indicated by the arrow in the image
above.
The Choose file window will open.

- Select the folder or directory containing the file.
- Select the file.
- Click Open.
The Return assessment items window will refresh, displaying the path of
the selected file.

- Click Submit as indicated by the arrow in the image above.
A progress bar will indicate the upload status of the file.

The Return assessment items confirmation window will open.

- Click Select next student as indicated by the arrow in
the image above to refresh the window and
return the next student's assessment item.
If you have finished returning assessment items you can close AssignIT.
