Resize image with Paint.NET
When adding images to your staff home page, the following size standard must be achieved to ensure University Web accessibility guidelines are met.
Size standard
Resolution - 72 pixels / inch
Dimension - no larger than 500 pixels wide or 500 pixels high
File size - less than 25 KB
Resize image
- Open the image to be resized.
You might want to change the image magnification if the image is too large to view completely.
- Click Image.
- Click Resize.
The Resize window will open.
- Enter the New Width.
- Enter the New Height.
- Click OK.
Note: To maintain the integrity of your image ensure the Maintain Aspect Ratio box is ticked.
You will now need to save and reduce file size to the appropriate image size standard.
