Pharmaceutical Science

Andrew Davey (UniSA)The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science at UniSA is an exciting new degree program that has been developed to enable graduates to have the greatest possible range of career choices within the pharmaceutical and related industries. Extensive consultation with potential employers across Australia and South East Asia was undertaken to identify current and future industry needs. The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science has been specifically developed to equip students with the skills to meet these needs. The program development team comprising experienced pharmacy and pharmaceutical science educators alongside industry representatives have put together a varied and flexible program that gives students entry-level training for various career roles, with the opportunity to specialise in one or more areas through their elective choice. At the end of the degree, high achieving students can expand their options even further through entry into a research honours program.
