Schools

The Division of Health Sciences collaborates strongly with industry partners to develop technologically advanced and clinically relevant programs. The Division's location gives excellent access to the health science industry as the campus is adjacent to South Australia's largest hospital, medical schools and departments of health. The Division comprises of three schools and three specialist health clinics.
School of Nursing and
Midwifery
The School provides successful award programs for pre
and post-registered nurses and midwives.
School of Health Sciences
The school has specialist areas of Physiotherapy, Podiatry,
Occupational Therapy, Medical Radiation, Human Movement and Health
Science.
School of Pharmacy and
Medical Sciences
The school educates students in
the areas of Pharmacy, Laboratory Medicine,
Nutrition and Food Sciences, Pharmaceutical Science and Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.
The Division also plays an active role in the operation of the Spencer Gulf Rural Health School (SGRHS) located at Whyalla. The SGRHS is a Commonwealth funded, joint venture between UniSA and the University of Adelaide which focuses on conducting education and research to improve the health of rural and remote communities.
