Antibacterial coatings research gets NHMRC boost Research into antibacterial coatings for biomedical devices used in health care has been given a boost with a $273,000 development grant from the National Health and Medical Research Council awarded to UniSA’s Deputy Director (Industry) at the Ian Wark Research Institute, Professor Hans Griesser. Veteran's MATES project extended
The Veterans’ Medicines Advice and Therapeutics Education Services (MATES) project, run by the Sansom Institute’s Quality Use of Medicines and Pharmacy Research Centre (QUMPRC) for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, has been extended for a further two years. Alone in a crowd: Supporting older Australians managing loneliness
Professor Julianne Cheek, Director of the Centre for Research into Sustainable Health Care, will lead a project team working on building crucial understandings and knowledge about loneliness as understood by older Australians. The ARC-Linkage project, partnered by Helping Hand Aged Care and RSL Care, will contribute to ensuring the optimum use and deployment of finite health and social resources.
