Division of Health Sciences Honours Scholarships
The Division of Health Sciences is offering competitive Honours scholarships
valued at $7,000 each to students undertaking a full-year Honours research
program that are commencing in SP2 2012.
Applications will open in now for students commencing in Study Period 2, 2012, and close on Monday the 20th of February 2012.
Applications are invited from Australian and international students who have applied or are intending to apply for an eligible full-year Honours program at UniSA, commencing in Study Period 2, 2012. Applicants may be undertaking their Honours program on a full or part-time basis.
Eligibility:
- Citizenship: applications will be
accepted from Australian citizens, permanent residents of
Australia, and international students (English language
requirements may apply for international applicants: an
overall minimum IELTS score of 6.5 with subscores of no less
than 6.0 in Reading and Writing).
- Pre-requisite study: Applicants must
have completed an undergraduate degree in an appropriate
discipline.
- Eligible programs: Applicants must be undertaking a full-year Honours program in the Division of Health Sciences, UniSA, commencing in Study Period 2, 2012. Applicants must have applied or be planning to apply to one of the following programs:
- Supervision: Applicants must have as their principal project supervisor a staff member of the Division of Health Sciences, who is aligned with an established or developing research concentration. The Head of the relevant School or the Sansom Institute Director will be required to verify this before applications can be submitted.
Additional information:
- Scholarship value: The scholarship is
worth $7,000, and, subject to satisfactory academic
progress, will be paid in two $3,500 instalments (payments
will be made on a pro-rata basis for part-time students).
- Mode of study: applicants may be
studying full- or part-time; part-time students must
complete their program within two calendar years
- Academic records: Where applicants have
undertaken their undergraduate program at UniSA, academic
records will be obtained by the Research Coordinator,
Division of Health Sciences. Applicants who have undertaken
any part of their undergraduate program at another
institution will need to provide certified copies of the
relevant academic transcript(s).

Your personal information can only be released in special circumstances, where the law requires, or where you give permission.

Applications must be complete, all signatures must be obtained and any
additional evidence required (such as certified copies of non-UniSA
transcripts or IELTS test results) attached to the form before it is
submitted.
