Health literacy is not just about understanding the health system but rather is about empowering people and communities to engage more effectively in consistently making healthy life choices.

This seminar will explore the role of a variety of systems in developing and maintaining health literacy and will provide the opportunity for input into the proposed joint submission to the proposed National Primary Health Care Strategy by the SA Health Literacy Alliance, the Public Health Association of Australia (SA Branch) and the Australian Health Promotion Association.
