As an Allied Health professional, it's important to develop your skills to meet industry changes.

Our new and exciting Graduate Certificate in Health Science (Advanced and Extended Practice) can help experienced allied health professionals like you, prepare for advanced and extended scope of practice roles through increasing knowledge, clinical skills, clinical reasoning, and expertise relevant to industry demands. 

Introduced after extensive discussion and consultation with the Department of Health, Office of Allied Health, clinicians and professional associations, this exciting new program will be delivered as a fully online program. This will provide the flexibility needed by working professionals while still delivering a comprehensive program for students.

Applicants are required to have:

  • completed a Bachelor degree or graduate entry qualification in a health science area from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; and
  • a minimum of four years full-time, or equivalent, work/professional/clinical experience in an allied health practice area. Evidence of a minimum of four years work history will need to be substantiated by the applicant; and
  • be able to demonstrate fitness to practice in the area of their undergraduate or graduate entry qualification either through current registration or membership of the relevant professional association.
