Population Health Research Group
A new, multi-disciplinary Population Health Research Group at UniSA will
bring together Social Epidemiology, Health Economics, Health Systems
Research and Biostatistics. The Division has recruited a group of
outstanding international researchers to build excellence, synergy and
capacity.
The research program of the Group has been developed in partnership with a range of key stakeholders including government, industry and community groups and is designed to inform practice and policy. Research projects in the program cover significant health policy areas and methodological development around major themes including:
- child protection and prevention of child mistreatment
- social determinants of health
- microsimulation of population health interventions
- indigenous and rural health
- healthy ageing
- linked population databases
- health care workforce planning
- early childhood intervention.
